Adjectives and adverbs are words that add detail and description to sentences.
Adjectives
- Adjectives modify nouns and pronouns.
- They describe the qualities or characteristics of things.

Adverbs
- Adverbs modify verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs.
- They describe how, when, where, or to what extent something happens.
Example:
- He ran very (adverb) fast.
- The movie was extremely (adverb) funny.
Here’s how you can use adjectives and adverbs to expand sentences:
- Add descriptive adjectives to nouns:
- The small, fluffy kitten played with a ball of yarn.
- Modify verbs with adverbs:
