Lesson No 18A- Ordering Food And Drinks

Here’s a simple dialogue between a customer and a waiter at a restaurant:

Waiter: Good evening. Welcome to [Restaurant Name]. Can I take your order?

Customer: Yes, please. I’d like a [dish name], and my friend would like a [dish name].

Waiter: Would you like that with fries or a salad? Customer: Fries, please.

Waiter: And to drink? Customer: I’ll have a [drink name], and my friend will have a [drink name].

Waiter: Okay, so that’s two [dish names] with fries and a [drink name] and a [drink name]. Is that correct?

Customer: Yes, that’s correct.

Waiter: Your order will be right out.
